The Trifferent Method

Sometimes, when it comes to coaching, you hear sentences like:

“Coaching is very “impressive”, but when sessions are ended your back to your initial state…”

“It’s very good for increasing motivation, but in the long run… you go back to your initial state…”
Why do the benefits seem to be temporary?

There are mainly three factors that hinder the durability of the benefits of coaching (or personal growth in general):

PEOPLE ARE USED TO INTERVENE ONLY ON THE SYMPTOMS AND NOT ON THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM

Discovering and working on the cause of the problem or limits that the individual wants to overcome is an effort that requires time, motivation and commitment. Despite this, normally, the sessions of a coaching process are only 4 or 6.

WE STOP AT THE “AWARENESS”, WITHOUT THEN WORKING ON SETTING UP NEW HABITS

Often a coaching process stops at fostering awareness without proceeding to establish new habits. While clients typically identify the root cause of their barriers and become aware of them, they often find it challenging to delve deeply and consistently into developing the mental muscles necessary for effecting real change.

A NORMAL COACHING PROGRAM DOES NOT COUNT ON A COMMON OPERATING SYSTEM

The person is usually “bombarded” with multiple stimulations and teachings that saturate the ability to take action. For example:
“The 9 levels of conflict management”,
the “5 types of emotional intelligence”, “the 7 habits of highly effective people”… and so on… Having to get used to all this overload of info, makes global learning and therefore lasting change difficult.

What makes Trifference Method different?
To encourage concrete and lasting change, TRIFFERENCE uses a different coaching method that acts on the root cause of personal limitations and respects the time necessary for the creation of “mental muscles” and lasting habits. Its effectiveness is also strengthened by a systemic approach with other disciplines. This way we multiply the normal coaching process by three, offering a package of complementary services that involve both the MENTAL, PHYSICAL and SPIRITUAL aspect of the person.
coaching method
A coaching program is based on the creation of a new mental approach: a change of perspectives. But for the result to be lasting, the change must be deep and include the person’s overall well-being.

How is this overcome achieved?

Starting from this ancient principle: “Mens sana en corpore sano”.
Healthy mind in healthy body. If we do not take care of our body – the temple of our mind – we do not have sufficient levels of vital energy to achieve the “mental” goal, lasting change. Stop for a second and think:

How strong do you feel mentally, when you are physically unwell?
Not that well, right?

For the same reason, by taking care of your body (for example a good walk, breathing exercises, etc.), the mind will gain a greater percentage of energy and will therefore be able to face any proposed change forcefully. Seeing is believing…
What about the spirit? Why should it be “treated”?

In general terms, the spirit refers to the deeper and transcendental dimension of human experience. It is considered the immaterial and essential aspect of a person: it goes beyond the physical body and the mind. It can be understood as the inner essence, the life force or the energy that animates us. This third, fundamental component of our “being” is the most genuine part of ourselves. It recognizes and shows us “the path to follow”: what is suitable and right for our uniqueness. It allows us to be consistent and true to ourselves. It is that inner voice that must be listened to in order to achieve the much desired well-being.

“Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And, most importantly, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary”

– Steve Jobs

How do we work?

During our personal programs we work simultaneously on the three spheres.

Through coaching we offer: MENTAL support (necessary to build “mental muscles”). At the same time, for the change to be firmly internalized, we also take care of the other two natural components of the person: the BODY and the SPIRIT. This means that, if the client wishes, throughout his/her “mental” coaching program, he/she can also take advantage of a package of complementary services..

To ensure lasting change, TRIFFERENCE guides you towards achieving your goal and provides ongoing support through regular follow-up sessions, all included in the price!
